Cave de Tavel
The cellar of the "Vignerons de Tavel" was created in 1937, only one year after the entry of Tavel in the Protected Designation of Origin.
Situated in the heart of the Tavellois vineyard, it is composed of 60 wine growers.
Since 2013, the cellar is registered as a French Historic Monuments and received the label "Heritage of the XXth century".

VARIETAL: 63% Grenache, 17% Syrah, 14% Carignan, 6% Mourvedre
VINEYARD: 60 hectares in the area surrounding Tavel.
VINE AGE: 25 years
SOIL: Limestone and clay.
VINIFICATION: Grapes are destemmed and vatted for three weeks. Pumping over is done several times during alcoholic fermentation.
