NOTES
VINEYARD: Grapes are sourced from 3 sites planted with Sumoll over clay and limestone in 1950, 1999 and 2001. Sumoll was quite popular in the past but growers started digging it up in favor of easier growing and more productive varietals. There are just about 200 hectares remaining in Catalunya. Viticulture is certified organic. No herbicides, pesticides nor synthetic products are used. The vineyards are not irrigated and are worked as little as possible to encourage the growth of natural cover crops.

FARMING: Organic

VINIFICATION: Grapes are hand-harvested, 50% de-stemmed, crushed, then gravity-filled to tank. 50% whole-cluster. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks. Aged 3 months in concrete before bottling.
