VARIETAL
Aligoté
NOTES
VINEYARD: Young vines. The vineyard’s location in the Van Duzer Corridor allows for great retention of freshness in the wines of the area due to cool ocean air that rushes in every afternoon during the growing season, balancing out the summer sun. The 86-acre property is planted with 23 acres of equally interesting varieties such as Mondeuse Noire, Chenin Blanc, and Trousseau Noir. Pamar is LIVE sustainable and Kate’s Aligoté block is farmed specifically without glyphosate. Pamar Vineyard is farmed sustainably and regeneratively, with solar panels, permanent cover crops, and oak savanna preservation. The wines from Pamar Vineyard reflect the unique terroir and climate of the Van Duzer Corridor, with high acidity, thick skins, and intense flavors.
FARMING: Regenerative Organic, Sustainable
VINIFICATION: Direct press and primary and malolactic fermentations naturally occuring in neutral and stainless barrel. Aged 10 months in a combination of neutral French oak and stainless steel. Unfined and unfiltered at bottling, with minimal sulfer.
