Château Peyredon Lagravette Haute Medoc

Summary

Château Peyredon Lagravette was acquired in 2009 by Stéphane and Laurence Dupuch. Located 3km east of the village of Moulis in the town of Médrac, it is partly located in the Listrac and Moulis appellation area. The property is part of the Grand Poujeaux plateau renowned for its "Gunz Gravel": poor gravelly soils providing both excellent natural drainage and encouraging deep rooting of the vines, wherein is revealed the complexity of this terroir's different layers. Here, Chateau Peyredon Lagravette is in the midst of its prestigious neighbors such as Château Poujeaux, Château Chasse Spleen and Château Maucaillou.

The vines are composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, with a density of 9100 vines per hectare for an area of 10 hectares. Vines are manually harvested and sustainable agricultural methods are practiced.
