Grüner Veltliner Sandgrube 13

Varietal
Gruner Veltliner

Notes
SOIL: Loess

VINIFICATION: The hand-picked grapes are transported quickly to the cellar, where grapes are subjected to strict quality control; only fully ripe, undamaged grapes are fed through the press. Grapes are gently whole cluster pressed and then fed into stainless steel tanks for temperature controlled fermentation.

TASTING NOTES: Yellow straw color; aromas of flowers, peach with white pepper notes, dry, light to medium bodied, well-balanced crisp acidity, with flavors of spice, light herbs and mineral. Pairs well with meat dishes; especially with veal and fish specialties. It is an excellent companion to the traditional Austrian cuisine such as as “Wiener Schnitzel”.
