Domaine le Galantin

Summary

Founded in 1972 and nestled in the hills of Plan du Castellet in Provence, Domaine Le Galantin is a family-run estate in the heart of the Bandol appellation—widely regarded by wine lovers as the finest area for rosé production in France. With its sun-drenched vineyards minutes away from the Mediterranean Sea,  the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir that brings depth and elegance to every bottle.

Since 1999, the estate has been run by sibling duo Céline and Jérôme. Quietly devoted to their craft, they’ve built a reputation for producing expressive, authentic wines that capture the essence of Provence—being mostly under the radar.

Domaine Le Galantin spans 30 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards, certified High Environmental Value (HVE). They follow organic farming practices on their hillside vineyard rich in clay and red limestone. Bandol is perfect for growing native varietals: Rolle, Ugni Blanc, and Clairette for white wines, and Mourvèdre and Grenache for the acclaimed rosé and red cuvées.

In the cellar, Céline and Jérôme take a minimalist approach. Whites and rosés are vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve their fresh, aromatic character, while our reds are aged slowly and thoughtfully in oak barrels and bottles—allowing them to develop complexity and finesse over time.

At Domaine Le Galantin, every bottle tells the story of a place, a family, and a deep respect for nature.
