NOTES
VINEYARD: Two vineyards are the sources for this wine: Round Rock Vineyard, a shallow hill planting on the east side of Seneca Lake with slopes in the 3-8% range and 840' asl. Vines were planted in 2008. Honoeye silt loam and Lansing gravelly silt loam soils with calcareous elements on a shale bedrock. Patrician Verona Vineyard, located on the western shore of Cayuga Lake. The land is gently sloping towards the lake sitting at 570' asl on Casenovia silt loam soils.

FARMING: Sustainable

VINIFICATION: Grapes were harvested and de-stemmed, then pressed immediately in a slow cycle. Fermented naturally in 400L and 500L barrels. Aged on the lees in barrel until the first racking (about one month before bottling).
